Hosting Viktor Uygan in Rehoboth Beach
A behind-the-scenes look at hosting Viktor Uygan and bringing Konnect Method™ teacher training to Rehoboth Beach.

Some moments in your career feel almost surreal — moments where you pause, look around the room, and realize something truly special is happening.
Hosting Viktor Uygan, creator of The Konnect Method™, at Pilates By Tammie was one of those moments for me.
In total, I had the opportunity to spend three days with Viktor while he was here leading a two-day Konnect Method™ teacher training in our Rehoboth Beach studio. Having someone of Viktor’s caliber teaching inside our space was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — humbling, inspiring, and honestly a little surreal.
Over those three days, I gained an even deeper appreciation not only for Viktor’s knowledge and creativity, but also for the person he is. Spending time with him reinforced just how fortunate the Pilates community is to have someone like Viktor contributing to this industry and continuing to evolve the way we think about movement.
Bringing Instructors Together
The training brought together instructors from Pilates BY Tammie and Bella forma Pilates, led by studio owner Amy. Both of our studios utilize Balanced Body reformers equipped with the Konnector® system, which is the apparatus used to teach and practice The Konnect Method™.
For two full days, instructors immersed themselves in learning the principles, progressions, and teaching techniques behind the method. Teacher trainings like this are essential to the Pilates tradition, allowing instructors to deepen their understanding of movement so they can better serve their clients.
Watching our instructors — along with Amy’s team — come together to learn, explore, and expand their teaching skills created an incredible energy in the room.
Understanding the Konnect Method™
The Konnect Method™ focuses on creating more integrated, connected movement throughout the body.
Using the Konnector® system, which features a single rope with four straps on the reformer, the method introduces multidirectional movement patterns that challenge coordination, stability, and control in new ways.
For instructors, the training focuses not only on performing the exercises, but on understanding how to teach them effectively so clients can experience the full benefits of the method.
Because both Pilates by TAMMIE and Bellaforma Pilates are equipped with reformers that feature the Konnector system, instructors are able to immediately begin integrating what they learned into their classes.
A Special Addition to the Training
Another highlight of the training was having one of our own studio clients participate.
While she is not a Pilates instructor, she chose to attend the training simply to deepen her personal Pilates practice and better understand the movement system she experiences in class. Her curiosity and enthusiasm were a wonderful reminder that Pilates attracts people who truly want to learn and understand their bodies.
Continuing Our Commitment to Education
At Pilates BY Tammie, continuing education is one of the most important investments we make in our instructors.
Our team spends countless hours studying, practicing, and refining their skills so they can provide the highest level of instruction to every client who walks through our doors.
Hosting Viktor Uygan and bringing Konnect Method™ teacher training to our studio reflects that commitment and helps ensure that our instructors continue growing within a method that emphasizes connection, coordination, and intelligent movement.
Looking Ahead
Hosting Viktor and bringing together such a dedicated group of instructors was an unforgettable experience for our studio.
Experiences like this remind us that Pilates is always evolving — and that the best teachers never stop learning.
We are incredibly grateful to Viktor for sharing his knowledge with us and for continuing to inspire the Pilates community around the world.
And we are excited to continue bringing the principles of The Konnect Method™ to our clients here at Pilates by Tammie.
Much Love,
Tammie
