There are moments in the life of a studio that feel bigger than a single event. Moments that quietly affirm why the doors were opened in the first place. Hosting the OPC Tour at Pilates by Tammie was one of those moments.
From the first movement to the final conversation, the studio was filled with curiosity, challenge, laughter, and connection. The energy in the room was unmistakable — a reminder that Pilates is not just exercise, but a lifelong practice rooted in intention, education, and growth.
We were honored to welcome Lesley Logan and her husband Brad Crowell, whose presence brought not only deep expertise, but a grounded generosity that resonated with everyone in the room. Their ability to teach with clarity, curiosity, and respect for the body set the tone for a truly meaningful day.
A True Full-Circle Moment
What made hosting the OPC Tour even more meaningful was the full-circle nature of it all.
I first met Lesley and Brad years ago at Pilates on Tour Phoenix — the very same conference where I also met Viktor Uygan for the first time.
At that point, I had no intention of owning a studio. I was there simply to learn — to move, to observe, to immerse myself in Pilates education alongside people who inspired me. But something shifted during that weekend. I came home, sat with the experience, and made a decision that would quietly change everything.
And then… boom. Here we are.
Pilates by TAMMIE wasn’t born from a long-term business plan at that moment. It was born from alignment, inspiration, and a deep trust in the work. To now host Lesley and Brad inside my studio — years later — felt surreal in the best possible way. A reminder that you don’t always see the path when you take the first step.
Sometimes you simply say yes to learning, and the rest unfolds.
Why the OPC Tour Matters
At its core, the OPC Tour exists because education is the root of the why.
The entire tour is proudly sponsored by Balanced Body, a company that has long understood that Pilates thrives when education is accessible, thoughtful, and shared. Their commitment to supporting ongoing teacher and community education is what makes experiences like the OPC Tour possible—and meaningful.
What sets the OPC Tour apart is that it’s not about trends or flash. It’s about depth. It’s about coming together to learn, to refine, and to reconnect with the principles that make Pilates such a powerful lifelong practice. The repertoire is intelligent and intentional, but more importantly, it’s rooted in purpose. Every movement has a reason. Every progression invites curiosity rather than force.
The OPC Tour creates space for teachers and movers alike to gather, learn together, and share openly. It reminds us that Pilates is not meant to be practiced in isolation. Growth happens in community—when ideas are exchanged, questions are asked, and passion is shared.
That collective learning is what keeps Pilates alive and evolving while staying true to its roots. It’s why days like this matter so deeply. When education leads, everything else follows: stronger teaching, more empowered movers, and a community that continues to grow together.
This philosophy—education first, community always—is exactly why the OPC Tour felt so aligned with Pilates by TAMMIE.
Community Above All
Perhaps the most powerful part of the day was the sense of community.
Movers supporting movers. Teachers exchanging ideas. Conversations flowing well beyond the reformer. These are the moments that build more than strong bodies — they build strong studios, confident teachers, and lasting relationships.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for showing up with openness and intention. And to Lesley and Brad, thank you for sharing your knowledge, your generosity, and your belief in what Pilates can be when it’s taught with integrity.
This experience will stay with us for a long time — and it marks just the beginning of what’s possible here.
With gratitude,
Tammie
